Destiny cares so much about people that she wants to start her own natural skin care business so she can help others feel good about themselves inside and out! We asked her a few questions about what she is working on and her experience in The Spark Program:
Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I am 25 years old. I was born and raised in Denver, CO and I love living in Colorado. I want to start my own business called Natural Roots.
What will your business do?
My business is about making natural skin products with no harsh chemicals added. Some products we would like to make are scrubs, lotions, and hair serum. My business will help people with their insecurities and the way they feel about themselves inside and out. We want them to blossom naturally.
Who is in your Support Network?
My older sister, Celebrate EDU, RMHS, and Goldstar. They are supportive and helping me gain a lot of information that I need to know about becoming an entrepreneur, and the steps I need to be taking. My Support Network is there to help me whenever I’m having trouble.

What did you think about The Spark Program?
I really liked taking the Spark Program online, because I could work and learn from anywhere, I didn’t have to be in a classroom. I also enjoyed the video chats with the instructors. What I like the most was the information I learned to run my business, like my competitors and knowing the specific targets for my business, like teenagers, young adults, adult females in Colorado and those who shop online.
How did The Spark Program help you?
The Spark Program helped me think about if being an entrepreneur is what I really want to do. They break it down so you can get a proper understanding of what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur and I learned that when you become an entrepreneur is that when you first start it might not go so well, but it can motivate you to try different routes of what you can do to be successful.
What are your future goals?
My goals for the future is to start my own natural skin care business and I am hoping to excel more in my education and learn more skills in making natural skin care products. I am hoping to gain all of the education I can about being an entrepreneur and how to make my successful business.
